The Cathay House Chinese Restaurant has been in business since 1980 and has been recognized as a local favorite.

It is the proud recipient of the 2007 award for the Top Regional Chinese Cuisine at the 2007 competition for the top 100 Chinese Restaurants in the USA. It has also been voted by the readers of the Salinas Californian Newspaper as the #1 Favorite Chinese restaurant and Runner-Up two years in a row.

The restaurant is known in the area for the good food, the corner wishing fountain and the beautiful large koi fish tank.

The restaurant also offers a full service bar if you would like a cocktail with your dinner.
